| Biography |
| Pat Flynn has learned his lesson. The Man whom many consider one of the country's finest Irish tenors realized he didn't have to go to New York or Las Vegas to make people happy. He is secure enough in himself and his pure, rich three-octave voice to perform in small, Akron Ohio area establishments. The music is the important thing he now knows and not the fame that once sought him out. It was music that gave Pat Flynn pleasure, as well as hope and strength, while he battled polio as a boy. Although eventually conquering the disease, it prevented him from participating in school athletics. So he did the next best thing------he joined the choir. Thus began what has since become a compulsion for Pat Flynn. A compulsion to sing. Now, in fact, Pat Flynn devotes all his time to singing. Possessing a clear, strong voice, full of range and emotion that makes him unique. He is totally in his element when singing to a crowd. And while the E.J. Thomas Hall may not exactly be the bright lights of Las Vegas, Pat Flynn can look back on his career as an Irish tenor with pleasure. For that's just what he's given to a great many people. |
